Our faculty and staff are focused on providing superior intermediate Professional Military Education (PME) to mid-grade officers and civilians from the United States and our Allies. In addition many of our students take advantage of the opportunity to earn a Master of Military Operational Art and Science degree.
The resident program is taught at Maxwell AFB, Alabama where Majors and Lieutenant Colonels students from the Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps and over 65 partner nations around the globe comprise the class. Mid-grade civilians from the Air Force, Department of State, and other government agencies add a civilian and interagency perspective to our student class.
We also deliver intermediate PME to over 9,000 distant learning students enrolled in our On-line Master’s Program (OLMP) and Non-Masters Program (NMP) correspondence tracks. Students enrolled in these tracks are from the AF, Army, Navy and the Marine Corps as well DOD civilians.
Our mission is on prepare our students to develop, employ, and command air, space and cyberspace power in joint, multinational and interagency operations. Our faculty challenges the students to think critically and exercise a combination of analytical and practical tools in order to prepare our students for their future leadership roles. The program is designed to enable our students to evolve from tactical experts in a particular career field into operational-level leaders. One very rewarding aspect of ACSC is the partnerships developed with the other students in the residence and OLMP programs. This student class diversity proves to be an invalauable part of the ACSC experience.
